Now, once upon a time what I'd answer to "who are you?" is "I'm Hugo Weaving, an Australian actor".

But the problem is, it's more complicated than that...

Here's the thing. Apparently, there are all of these "alternate dimensions" where identical yous and mes exsist along seperate life paths. And in the one I'm from, I never married (it was a shock to learn that isn't always or even often the case, I'll tell you...)

Anyway, apparently, something got messed up in The Grand Scheme of Things and... I died.

For the record, I don't remember that.

But the thing is I wasn't supposed to die, so when a fan of mine from a demension where I'm married wished for a single clone of me, the goddess she was talking to had no qualms about granting the wish.

So, my soul was "snagged from limbo" right before my death and placed into a clone the goddess had made by a friend of hers. No, I don't know who the friend was.

Now, since I was beleived to be dead in my own dimension, I couldn't go back, or risk trauma to my friends and family, and the minor problem of there being this corpse of me, and me being legaly dead, and all.

For a while I lived in a place called the lunatic_cafe, run by a buffy_summers (one of many), and surviving off a tab set up by Liza, as she's now a multimillionaire due to her other wish. (Aparently I rank below world peace and above 20 million. That's flattering, in a way.)

Anyway, remember all those dementions I mentioned? A lot of them mirror what passes in the others for fiction, so that one of them might be recognizable as Middle Earth, another might look like Star Trek, and so on. All of them intersect at the Lunatic Cafe.

And, yes, that means that I interaced on a daily basis with what I consider to be "fictional characters".

One of these was the superhero named _nightwing_ from what I knew as the DC Comics universe. I helped in giving him first aid, and in thanks, an old friend of his walked up and introduced herself.

To make a long story short (too late!) we fell in love, got married, and had a son.

Oh, and in between that I permanently moved to her universe, got kidnapped, and went into space to rescue her from being kidnapped.

Now that the dust has all more or less settled, I live and work in Titans Tower as an associate member of the Titans with my wife, the superhero alien princess, and my son, the half alien superhero to be. I've got U.S. citizenship under the assumed identity of "Wallace Anders", mild-mannered historian from Bristol, because - you guessed it - this universe already has a Hugo Weaving and - you guessed it again - like in Liza's universe, he's married to somebody I haven't talked to since Uni.

Funny old multverse, isn't it?

In my spare time I train the superdog, watch movies, and talk to god.

You think it sounds wierd hearing it, try living it.
